When Daryl was killing zombified Merle, didn’t remind you of when Carol was hitting Ed (her abusive husband) in the head with an ax to prevent him from turning? It kinda shows how Daryl & Carol finally come to terms with their demons or the bad parts of their lives. Go back to the episode ‘Wildfire’ and compare the two. Its eerily similar.

Remember in Back to the Future Part II, when there was an alternate 1985? In the alternate The Walking Dead Season 3, T-Dog is still alive right now and Carol is the one who died.

In the new 35 sec promo of the mid season premiere of The Walking Dead, there were DEFINITELY some major clues/hints about Daryl’s future. The images of the evidence goes by really fast, that if you blink, you would miss it! But luckily I have the images…

In the first image, you see Carol in a car with Judith SURROUNDED by a horde of walkers, and it does not look too good…

Then in the next image you see Daryl on a dead highway, with dead walkers all around him… BUT in the car behind him, it looks like there is someone in the passengers side!!  

DOES THIS MEAN THAT DARYL LIVES ON?!? THAT HE SAVES THE DAY ONCE AGAIN?!?!? :)
