‘Walking Dead’ rumors: TV show might end up as a theatrical movie by the end???

We’ve been saying that no one is safe on this show, and I wouldn’t rule out seeing the death of Rick Grimes at almost any point. We really like to keep people guessing, and I could definitely see some interesting stories coming from that. While Rick has been a pretty solid leader, he’s definitely made his share of mistakes. I think seeing Daryl or Maggie or Glenn picking up a larger leadership role in the group could pose some interesting story possibilities.

In an interview, Kirkman, who is also the executive producer of the zombie apocalypse TV show, has said that even Sheriff — or perhaps more precisely former sheriff — Rick Grimes is not “out of the woods,” and if so, the remaining group of series survivors could move forward without Rick: BULLSHIT… THE COMIC IS ABOUT RICK. People need to read the novels. Abraham will not be introduced in the show yet according to the rob stark casting call. The description of rob stark is way closer to a character named bob stooky. He is mostly in the novels but he is the man who saves the gov after michonne was done with him.
Producers of the show are going to move far away from the comics but nab a bit of storytelling from the novels. Introducing Abraham in season 4 is just so unlikely to me. Abe is introduced way after the prison. plus there is Tyrese still in the show. don’t get me wrong. i would love to see Abe in the show. just not this season or the next. Just my opinion.

Abraham will be showing up in Season 4 of The Walking Dead!
While the season four of “The Walking Dead” doesn’t start until October, fans are already excited about spoilers and news about what they can expect for the upcoming season. On April 16 Enstarz reports that casting for Roy Stark, better known as Abraham Ford from thegraphic novels.
The renamed cast member will play a traumatized medic that is very dangerous, complex, and disturbed. In the “Walking Dead” graphic novel, his family is ravaged byzombies and his retaliation is described as more volatile and scary than The Governor’s wrath in the end of season three.
Creator and executive producer, Robert Kirkman, says that he plans to follow the comic series loosely, but fans will definitely get to see the back story of Roy Stark in the upcoming season. While some may wish Kirkman would follow the graphic novels more closely, it doesn’t always make for good TV to have the same story word for word.

I’ll say that there are a lot of familiar elements that are remaining. Michonne is still around, Rick and his group are still in the prison, the Governor’s still out there… so there are a lot of things that are carrying over from Season 3 to Season 4, but I can’t stress how different things are going to be. There are going to be some radical changes to those elements that are going to bring in a lot of new storytelling. While [Season 4] does seem somewhat familiar, it’s going to be vastly different from Season 3.

“It’s a big departure from the comics, which to a certain extent is somewhat risky but at the end of the day I like the idea of there being big differences that key in to this is the show, this is the comic,” he said. “We thought having that tragic end to her story line — having [Andrea] work so hard to save these people of Woodbury and find a peaceful resolution to this conflict was really something worthy of the character. It’s also something that changes Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) mindset and alters a lot of the characters and their modes of operation moving into the fourth season.”
He also teased that Merle’s death will activate Daryl “in an interesting way” in season four, and that Tyreese’s sister Sasha will come to the forefront more. As for the Governor, Kirkman said, “We’ve definitely got more story to tell with that guy.”

“As more people are able to make a living doing it, I think we’re moving into an atmosphere were creators are able to define their careers more than creators in the past have been able to,” he observes. “Relying on Marvel and DC is no longer becoming a viable option, because the contracts aren’t viable and the rates aren’t set. They make the rules. A lot of people have fooled themselves into thinking that’s stability but are now realizing that it’s the exact opposite. The real stability is controlling your own career and being in a position to hire yourself, generating ideas that are enough to make you a sustainable income, and also controlling those ideas and your own destiny. That’s the new stability and that’s something people are realizing. I’m very optimistic that it’ll be something that is here to stay.”
